Golden Week<\/h1>\n

These are my last days in Manza :( The culmination will be the golden week. Besides Obon and new year an important holiday period in Japan. So peak season for us here in the Hotel.<\/p>\n

The golden week begins on 29th<\/sup> of April with the Sh\u014dwa-day, the Sh\u014dwa no Hi, <\/span><\/span>\u662d\u548c\u306e\u65e5<\/span><\/span><\/span>. This day is only from the year 2007 on dedicated to the – because of his reign during the second World War – controversial Emperor <\/span><\/span>Tenn\u014d Hirohito (*29.04.1901 \u2013 \u2020 7.01.1989). Before 2007 the day was called Midori no hi <\/span><\/span>\u307f\u3069\u308a\u306e\u65e5<\/span><\/span>, green day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Der 3<\/span><\/span>rd<\/span><\/sup><\/span> of May Kemp\u014d Kinen-bi, <\/span><\/span>\u61b2\u6cd5\u8a18\u5ff5\u65e5<\/span><\/span>. The constitution day.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2007 the 4<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span> of May was turned into the green day, Midori no Hi, <\/span><\/span>\u307f\u3069\u308a\u306e\u65e5<\/span><\/span>. Before it used to be Kokumin no Ky\u016bjitsu <\/span><\/span>\u56fd\u6c11\u306e\u4f11\u65e5<\/span><\/span>, people’s holiday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The golden Week is concluded with the <\/span><\/span>Kodomo no Hi, <\/span><\/span>\u3053\u3069\u3082\u306e\u65e5<\/span><\/span><\/span>, children’s day. On May 5<\/span><\/span>th<\/span><\/sup><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
